This post was prompted by a recent Facebook message I received looking for the basics of where to start. I found myself pulling together resources and emailing a bunch of links, so I figured it would be best to get it all into one place!

This post is for you if you recognize the audience you can reach on Facebook, but have not yet started or feel like you tread water aimlessly on there.

First, for any success, you need to understand your big picture objective is.

  • Background Check
  • Relationship Marketing (the easiest to tap into)
  • Lead Generation

Second, authentic pictures and videos are what works. You need to be getting lots of them from the field. If you cannot get consistent pictures of your operations, you will find no success going beyond the “Background Check” level.

Cute dog pictures, stock photos, or sharing a recipe may get likes, clicks and shares, but that stuff does absolutely nothing to influence the buying decision.

Learn More about the types of pictures that will influence the buying decision here: https://youtu.be/IubttK0r_44

Once you get the pics, then you can get into the ‘relationship marketing’ as I explained in the first link.

And then I’ve got service which takes your pics and turns into content with email and FB ads you can see here.

And also this which is just the Facebook Ads. https://go.homeprosuccess.com/connected-contractor-lite-go/

Finally for leads… that is a whole nother animal. I am planning to do a ‘lead gen’ add on to the Connected Contractor, and a course on FB lead generation (along with other stuff), but for the moment it has to takes a back seat to The Connected Contractor and my own contracting business.

In the mean time listen to my episode on Perpetual Traffic. That’s actually one of the top rated marketing podcasts on Itunes. But again keep in mind, you should work through the ‘background check’ and then ‘relationship marketing’ stuff before jumping into lead gen.
